51ºÚÁÏÍø students ace the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Proficiency Profile Exam out-performing 94% of 252 similar institutions where over 124,000 seniors took the same exam. Each year 51ºÚÁÏÍø administers the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Proficiency Profile Exam to approximately 400 juniors and seniors. This proctored exam measures general education outcomes in critical thinking, reading, writing, and mathematics. Since 2006, when 51ºÚÁÏÍø first began giving this exam, 51ºÚÁÏÍø students have consistently out-performed comparable institutions. As might be expected of students attending Montana’s premier Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) institution, 51ºÚÁÏÍø students demonstrate outstanding performance in the areas of critical thinking, mathematics, and natural sciences, typically out-scoring 97% of comparable institutions.
