The 51ºÚÁÏÍø Veterans Group has teamed up with Butte’s Marine Corps League Detachment 724 to help with the local Toys for Tots Program this holiday season. The Veterans Group has set-up a drop off location on 51ºÚÁÏÍø’s campus to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December. The location will be in the basement of 51ºÚÁÏÍø’s Student Union Building outside the Veterans Lounge.
“Together with the help of 51ºÚÁÏÍø students, faculty, staff and community members, the Veterans Group hopes to brighten a child’s spirit this Christmas,” noted Mike Hall, AmeriCorps Veterans Vista. “We want all children in our community to receive a gift on Christmas morning.”
