51ºÚÁÏÍø will host an engineering symposium on April 27 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm on April 27 at the Student Union Building on campus.
The 51ºÚÁÏÍø Engineering Symposium highlights ‘Capstone’ senior design projects. The Symposium has been structured to mirror a real-world professional technical conference where peer-reviewed papers are formally presented and then published in conference proceedings. The 51ºÚÁÏÍø Engineering Symposium implements the same model. Final engineering reports that have been thoroughly reviewed by faculty mentors will be formally presented in the various technical sessions today: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and General Engineering (including Mechanical and Welding Engineering projects).
These 2017 Senior Design final reports will be integrated into “The 51ºÚÁÏÍø 2017 Conference Proceedings” and published through the 51ºÚÁÏÍø Library Digital Commons.
